MARPA is proud to announce that Dan Bartel will serve as keynote speaker for the 2025 MARPA Annual Conference. Dan oversees all corporate procurement teams, processes, and strategies for American Airlines in his role as Chief Procurement Officer. The event takes place on November 11-13, 2025 in Dallas, Texas, and offers aerospace manufacturing industry professionals an opportunity to network and learn more about the latest developments in PMA parts.
With a career spanning nearly 30 years, Dan has extensive experience leading procurement, sourcing, and supply chain management systems across multiple industries. Most recently, he served as Chief Procurement Officer at Schneider Electric, after holding various leadership roles at ABB Ltd., where he managed multi-billion-dollar procurement programs.
He was recognized as the 2023 CPO of the Year by the World Procurement Awards and helped lead Schneider Electric’s to various industry awards, including the top spot on the Gartner Supply Chain Top 25 in 2023, and receiving the Environmental and Social Impact Award and the Supply Chain Initiative Award at the 2022 World Procurement Awards. Additionally, Dan serves as an Advisory Board Member for several organizations, such as the World 50 Group’s Procurement Leaders, business sustainability ratings provider EcoVadis, and the University of California’s Institute for Supply Chain Excellence and Innovation.
Dan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in production operations management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and an Executive MBA from the Institute for Management Development.
This year, the 2025 MARPA Annual Conference will take place November 11-13, 2025 in Dallas, Texas.
