PMA Parts Conference in Xi’an China

The PMA Conference in Xi’an China has begun!  Deidre Hawkins of American Airlines discussed American’s experience with  PMA parts and how PMA parts have provided safety and reliability value to her airline.

She was joined onstage by   American Airlines engineer Nick Burns, who introduced the audience to several PMA parts, including PMA engine parts, that American has used successfully to solve problems.

Heico VP Technical Services Pat Markham then followed-up with a discussion about the bilateral agreements, US regulations, Chinese regulations, and Chinese guidance that applies to acceptance of PMA parts and installation on Chinese-registered aircraft. It was an extremely comprehensive discussion of the law and policy that applies to PMA parts.
