MARPA COS Rev. 4 Now Available

In late December we posted a request for comments on the MARPA COS Committee’s draft revision to the MARPA COS guidance material. Last updated in 2014, the Continued Operational Safety guidance was due for a review and an update to ensure the guidance reflects current industry best practices.

We are now happy to announce that the MARPA COS Guidance Rev. 4 is live and has been posted to the MARPA website. You can find it here.

The MARPA COS guidance serves as a tool to help PMA manufacturers implement problem prevention, part monitoring, and problem response procedures into the manufacturer’s quality system to ensure the ongoing safety of the parts produced. An effective COS system is one of the building blocks in the foundation that ensures PMA parts maintain their excellent safety record.

Thank you again to the COS committee for its hard work. If you have any feedback or comments that you did not have a chance to submit and would like to see implemented in the next revision of the COS guidance, please contact MARPA.
