Government Grant for Aviation Manufacturing Payroll Support REOPENS

Did you miss the Aviation Manufacturing Jobs Protection (AMJP) deadline? The Department of Transportation plans to re-open the AMJP program application process:

  • OPEN: Wednesday, August 4, 2021 (at 8:00 a.m. Eastern time)
  • CLOSE: Wednesday, September 1, 2021 (at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time)

All eligibility requirements remain the same.

The initial application period for the AMJP program closed, as planned, on Tuesday, July 13.  However, the U.S. Department of Transportation has decided to reopen the application process because some businesses may have misunderstood certain requirements.

If you submitted an AMJP application before the original July 13 deadline and received confirmation that your application was received, then you DO NOT need to resubmit.  DOT will continue to evaluate and act upon these applications.

DOT will conduct a webinar on the AMJP on Wednesday, August 4 at 12:00 p.m. Eastern time.  This webinar will address the ERTC issue and will highlight important information about the application process.  There is no cost to attend and no need to pre-register for the webinar.  The link will be posted on the AMJP website.
