Memorial Day

Today is a solemn day in which we remember those who have fallen in defense of the United States. The aviation industry has more than its share of veterans, and many members of the MARPA community have served their nation. Which means our industry has more than its share of people who’ve known the fallen.

Memorial Day in America is often a time for picnics and baseball. I hope that our U.S. readers will take a moment, on this day, to remember those whose sacrifices have made the dream of freedom a continuing reality.

I know that it is considered “wrong” to thank those who served and returned on Memorial Day (that is for Veterans’ Day), but I am going to do it anyway. Thank you to all of our veterans in the MARPA community and beyond.
