FAA Sequencing Guidance Dictates FAA Project Priority

The FAA has issued their sequencing document. This document provides guidance on how the FAA will prioritize projects. Anyone who plans to seek FAA approval from the Aircraft Certification Service needs to understand this Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in order to know how to best formulate their project to get the highest score (and the highest priority) when seeking FAA data approval resources.

MARPA Offers Comments on FAA Sequencing Program

MARPA filed comments with the FAA in response to the FAA draft SOP commonly referred to as “sequencing.” Sequencing is intended to assist the FAA in prioritizing certification projects submitted for FAA approval in order to get the most out of its limited resources. Unfortunately, the policy as written misses out on clearly offering additional safety benefits, and disproportionately favors large businesses over small businesses, while offering no sound policy or safety rationale for this favoritism. MARPA Comments on the FAA’s Sequencing SOP

MARPA has filed comments with the FAA on the DRAFT Sequencing Standard Operating procedure (SOP). MARPA’s comments address a variety of issues raised by the FAA’s draft in an effort to assist the FAA in improving the draft SOP.
