MARPA Board member Josh Krotec has been appointed to the Commerce Department’s Industry Trade Advisory Committee (ITAC) on Aerospace Equipment. He is expected to represent the U.S. parts manufacturing and repair station industries on the committee.
Krotec was appointed by Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo and United States Trade
Representative (USTR) Katherine Tai. His term will run from 2022-2026.
Mr. Krotec will work with the other Committee members to provide advice on trade policy and technical issues. He will provide industry information, and his committee will make recommendations to the Secretary and the USTR regarding trade barriers, negotiation of trade agreements, implementation of existing trade agreements, and the development of U.S. trade policy as it applies to the aerospace industry.
The ITACs are part of the USTR-led trade advisory committee system and further information can be found at the International Trade Advisory Center website.
