Today, the U.S. published a new rule addressing incorporation-by-reference – the new rule should make it easier for PMA companies to review service bulletins incorporated in airworthiness directives.

The Office of the Federal Register sought comments on the term “Incorporation by Reference,” and the related notion of items that are “reasonably available” to the public. MARPA’s comments supported the idea that incorporated material that is a mandatory part of the regulations should be available for free over the internet, just like the rest of the regulations.
