MARPA’S Annual Conference is Free THIS WEEK – Last Chance to Register!

The 2020 MARPA Annual Conference will take place on October 21-22 for two hours each day, with a special workshop and Midweek MARPA kick-off session on October 20.  It’s free to register for anyone interested in learning more about the PMA industry. Presenters will discuss topics that are useful for aircraft parts manufacturers, aircraft owners (including leasing companies), aircraft operators (including air carriers), aircraft parts distributors, and aircraft parts installers (like repair stations).

As with the MARPA Spring Virtual Meeting last May, there are many things we will miss from our annual live conference this fall.  While we can’t be together in person this year, we’re hopeful that the information this event will provide can help our industry move forward through the global pandemic. We’re excited for the chance to be able to spend time together online, and to allow for the networking, side conversations, and deals that meeting live usually brings our attendees, even if this year it takes on a new form and requires reaching out virtually. 

Who Will Be Speaking?

We will hold a panel discussion on How PMA Improves Safety, Reliability, and Cost Savings with Panel Moderator Donny Douglas – Component Engineering; PMA Approvals, Delta Air Lines

There will be a financial panel discussion moderated by Richard Brown – Managing Director, NAVEO Consultancy about the financial future of the PMA industry in light of the changes brought by Covid-19. Mr. Brown will be joined by Ken HerbertManaging Director, Canaccord Genuity Inc., and Jason Reed – President; Flight Solutions Group, GA Telesis.

Deidre Vance – Senior Engineer, American Airlines and David Beal – EVP Sales and Program Management, Sheffield Aerospace will be presenting a panel of air carrier personnel discussing their experiences with PMA, and how PMA figures into their future plans.

Speakers will be limited to 20 minutes and panels to 40 minutes in order to make sure that this virtual conference remains useful, lively and fun!

How Do I Register?

Registration is free – you just have to sign up.  Click here to register online now! You’ll be sent a confirmation email with a link to log in to the Midweek MARPA kick-off session on Zoom, and a second link to the AnyMeeting sessions for the “PMA 101” FAA Workshop and both days of General Session.

When and Where?

The 2020 MARPA Annual Conference will take place on October 21-22 for two hours each day, with a special workshop and Midweek MARPA kick-off session on October 20.  Workshops and General Sessions will start at the same time each day.  Before the official beginning of the General Session on each day, we will feature the MARPA Pre-Game Show.  The Pre-Game Show will start 30 minutes before the virtual conference and will reflect extra bonus content for anyone who wants to log-in early. The Midweek MARPA kick-off session will be held on Tuesday from 5:00pm-5:30pm Eastern Daylight Time and is open to event attendees.
