MARPA is proud to announce that the keynote speaker for the 2020 MARPA Annual Conference will be Kofi A. Appah, Managing Director; Aircraft Materiel, Air Operations at FedEx Express. Mr. Appah will kick off this year’s online MARPA event on October 21st at 11:00am EDT.
During his 28-year tenure at FedEx, he has held several management positions in Finance, Marketing and EMEA Operations. He earned a B.A., in Economics & International Studies from Rhodes College in Memphis and an MBA in Finance and Corporate Strategy from Ross Business School, University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. In the past couple of years, Kofi completed three Executive Education programs at the Ross Business School, namely Global Supply Chain Innovation in a Changing Environment; Strategic Leaders Program – Vision, Strategy and Managing the Organization to Drive Results; and Enterprise Executive Program.
In his current position, Kofi leads the formulation and execution of sourcing strategies and guides supplier relationship management. He also has responsibility for policy and procedure controls as well as aircraft parts inventory accuracy and reporting.
