The 2019 MARPA EMEA Conference will take place May 15-16, 2019 in Dublin, Ireland at the Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge.
MARPA is proud to announce that Peter Berg, the Head of Supply Chain Management, Technical Operations at Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS), will serve as a keynote speaker for the 2019 MARPA EMEA Conference.
Mr. Berg manages the SCM processes within SAS Technical Operations, comprising of the contract department, purchasing, warehousing and transportation management. About two years ago, Peter was a part of a new PMA acceptance process implemented at SAS, in which focus has been moved towards implementing sustainable processes for material forecasting, obsolete and surplus material handling, and processes for in-and-out phase of aircraft affecting long term material planning.
In his previous career as an Air Force Logistics officer, Peter has served in Liberia, Uzbekistan, UAE and Congo. His last assignment was in the multinational Boeing C-17 program in Hungary, responsible for building up the SCM processes for the 30-year program.
